Whilst this may seem like just another launch of a new product line for one of the worlds most famous sporting teams, there is a serious element that brings home some of the struggle we face today to keep our planet is a healthy state. More specifically in this case - the Ocean.
To quote Adidas, 'Primeblue is a high-performance recycled material made in part with Parley Ocean Plastic—upcycled plastic waste, intercepted on remote islands, beaches, coastal communities and shorelines, preventing it from polluting our ocean. Products made with Primeblue use a minimum of 40% recycled content.' Primeblue, while not the only solution, is one innovation that’s helping us change our global environmental footprint.'
Due to this innovation by Adidas, it allows fans of the All Blacks to support their team whilst bringing as much awareness as possible to the plight pollution is creating for our oceans.
